Hello!  Welcome to my brand new website and blog.   Long story short, technical support can be stubborn at times and not very supportful.   I have a backup of all my old posts somewhere, but they're in dasBlog format, so until someone figures out an easy and reliable way to transfer dasBlog to BlogEngine.NET format then I'll be starting with a fresh slate.   I have seen a few promising attempts at this, so perhaps when I get some time I'll get to play around with it.    Know that I'm not a programmer by any means, and most of the conversions I have seen require some programming knowledge.    I'm sure I could figure it out given the time.   I just haven't been given the time to do that yet.    :)

So anyway.   

For my first post, I wanted to formally welcome a new member to my family.   She was delivered at a very healthy 7 pounds 11 ounces.   I nicknamed her Onyx because of her dark complexion, but Crystal hasn't really approved of that name yet so there's no official name yet.   I know, I know...most parents tend to have their names all picked out before delivery, right?   Well, I guess I missed the ball on that one this time.

Since her face first shown upon this world, she has been the best-mannered little gem that a parent could ever hope for.   With one exception, she has gotten along with her siblings well thus far.   That one exception could be looked back on as being quite amusing, but until she gets over this little "phase" then it's just simply frustrating.   Oh well, no one is perfect....right?
