I was a little bored today, and since I happen to have a Flash project at work I figured I'd play around a little in Flash to familiarize myself with the interface again. After all, it's been years since I've really done anything with it. Hopefully it'll be another few years before I have to do anything else again. Anyway, I did a little MP3 player. I'll be the first to admit that it's really just created by someone else and modified by myself, but it works. That's what matters.
However, I did run into an issue. I didn't want to upload a bunch of "illegal" MP3s that other people could then find the XML that leads to it and just copy the actual MP3s down from my server then causing a rampant hit of bandwidth on my server causing my ISP to realize that I am hosting "illegal" material and calling in the black helicopters to delete my entire website and also kidnap me in the process and sell my internal organs to the lowest bidder on the Nigerian black market so that I would end up as one of the poor people you read about in the e-mails where all you have to do is give the kind person informing you of my untimely demise your bank account number and they will transfer millions upon millions of dollars into your account making you happiest beyond your wildest dreams and causing the end of world starvation because I'm sure that if you had that sort of money you would donate it all to some sort of charity that would put a complete stop to the world hunger and thereby causing the people that sent the e-mail to no longer be hungry so they would come and thank you in person probably with a P90 or some other form of weapon found in Call of Duty 4 which happens to be a very fun game and I think I will play it once I am done explaining just exactly why I didn't upload any "illegal" MP3s to my server.
So now you know why. So I uploaded the music from my old band instead. Check it out here. I'll even open a new window for you to enjoy it in. But you get to resize it to whatever your little heart desires. I was going to resize it for you, or even embed it here but I didn't feel like doing anything more than clicking a checkbox to pop it up in a new window. So I didn't. Luckily you have some good music to sooth your sorrows.
